About
Kat Lawrence (she/her) is a performer and designer currently based in the Boston area.
​
Kat has loved telling stories in any way she could her whole life; through art, design, theater, and film. She attended Brandeis University where she received her degree in Music with a concentration in musical theater, Theater Arts, and minored in Film and Interactive Media. She graduated Summa Cum Laude with highest honors for her thesis, Orlando, for which she also won the Fisher Award for Creative Achievement in the Arts.

Since graduating, Kat has thrust herself into the Boston theater scene. Always having a deep love and care for others, Kat now works as a freelance performer and designer focusing on creating safe and comfortable environments by making art of all forms for everybody and every body. Her work has been seen with Commonwealth Shakespeare, The Hub Theater, Fresh Ink Theater, and Birch Tree Productions. She also recently made her New York City debut in the New York Theater Festival!

When not on the screen, stage, or behind it, Kat can be found rereading The Lord of the Rings, playing video games, and hanging with her fiancée, Garrett, and their cat Dorian.
